Voice Of The People

‘You mocked Shashtanga Pranam on foreign soil, will you dare to utter the same words for the practice of Sajdah in Wayanad?’ – Pradeep Bhandari questions Rahul Gandhi.

The truth has a way of coming out. Sometimes, it reveals itself when propaganda crosses all limits. Take today for example!

This morning, we woke up to the headline – RAHUL DOES IT AGAIN, MOCKS INDIA & HINDU TRADITIONS ON FOREIGN SOIL

I thought to myself – ‘what’s new?’. He does this each time he goes abroad and the script is pretty much the same. But then I heard him, what shocked me the most, was the way he mocked the Hindu rivaz of doing ‘Shashtang Pranam’, the way he said ‘the lying down and all, aren’t you glad that I’m not lying down here’ – it was hurtful, it was infuriating, it was disrespectful. As a practicing Hindu, I felt very very offended when I heard him mock ‘Shashtanga Pranam’

Which politician with Prime Ministerial aspirations conducts himself like this on foreign soil? He even used the term ‘specimen’ for a democratically elected Prime Minister. What is he up to? Is this ‘Mohabbat Ki Dukan’? Or is this his ‘Love Language’? What kind of language is this?

Also, isn’t this a classic example of ‘Woke Secularism’? At the cost of being repetitive, think about the scenario –

Rahul Gandhi, a prominent leader of the Opposition with Prime Ministerial ambitions goes to a Christian majority nation – United States of America – and mocks the Hindu tradition of ‘Shashtanga Pranam’. His exact words ‘lying down and all that. Aren’t you glad I am not lying down here?’

He goes ahead and propagates the ‘muslims under threat in India’ lie and smirks, sniggers and laughs while calling a Hindu leader – Prime Minister Narendra Modi a ‘specimen’. Tonight, Mr Gandhi is getting all the applause from India’s pseudo liberal secular cabal

I wonder if the same cabal will cheer him on if he utters the same words, with the same expression, same body language about the Islamic practice of ‘Sajdah’ and the Christian practice of ‘Kneeling down in prayer’ in his constituency of Wayanad in Kerala

Ironically all this mockery and disdain for India and Hindu traditions comes on a day when India has recorded GDP Growth at 7.2% in FY 2022-2023 and the nation’s status as a global bright spot has been highlighted in a Morgan Stanley report that says ‘India is different from what it was in 2013’
