Adani Defence & Aerospace has entered a strategic partnership with Thales Group to locally produce 70mm rockets in India. This collaboration is aimed at supporting India’s “Make in India” initiative, enhancing self-reliance in defence production
The 70mm rockets manufactured under this partnership will be utilized by the HAL Rudra and Prachand helicopters, key assets in India’s military operations. The HAL Rudra, equipped with air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles, rockets, and cannons, and the HAL Prachand, known for its high-altitude warfare capabilities, will benefit from locally produced rockets, ensuring a steady supply and bolstering operational readiness.
