Jan Ki Baat hopes to help Tushar by forwarding his message for help. Tushar suffers from Thalassemia, a rare blood condition. With the help of the NGO Thalassemia and Child Welfare Group, he has been made aware of his condition and his family members have been helped.
Thalassemia is an inherited blood disorder in which the body makes an abnormal form of haemoglobin. Haemoglobin is the protein molecule in red blood cells that carries oxygen. The disorder results in excessive destruction of red blood cells, which leads to anaemia.
We hope that Tushar gets well soon enough, and emerges twice as strong. ,
