JAN KI BAAT Content Head Sagarika Mitra breaks down the details of the ‘signature mismatch’ in Mahant Narandra Giri’s alleged suicide note. Here are the facts
MAHANT NARENDRA GIRI’S ALLEGED SUICIDE NOTE RAISES SUSPICION OVER MURDER ANGLE. JAN KI BAAT ANALYSES LETTER & POINTS AT THE ‘SIGNATURE MISMATCH’
The alleged suicide letter that was found next to Mahant Narendra Giri’s body on the day he died has raised serious questions about his mysterious death. Last evening, all media channels accessed the 13 page ‘suicide note’ which was penned on the letter head of the Akhil Bhartiya Akhada Parishad. While all channels read the contents of the letter, we at JAN KI BAAT analysed it very closely. On his show JANTA KA MUKADMA, JAN KI BAAT Founder & CEO Pradeep Bhandari revealed what no channel revealed – The ‘proof’ of FOULPLAY is in this very ‘suicide note’.
SCRATCHED DATES & NUMBER 9
In the first glance, the hand writing seems illegible in most parts but once you look at it minutely & read the contents closely, you find glaring inconsistencies. Firstly, many words have been scratched but what grabs one’s attention is the scrated date line. On most of the pages the date 13.09.2021 has been scratched and 20.09.2021 has been written above or below it. Interestingly, in the note, Mahant Narendra Giri allegedly writes that he wanted to commit suicide on the 13th of September but couldn’t gather the courage to do so. If we go by this claim made in the letter, then the question that emerges is – was a part of the letter written on the 13th of September and another part of it on 20th September? Even that theory doesn’t add up because everything is written in first person. So if the 13 page alleged suicide letter was actually written by Mahant Narendra Giri before his death, why did he mention 13th September in the date line & why was it then scratched in parts and changed to 20th of September. Another aspect that is worth mentioning here is the way the number 9 is written. If look at the scratched date closely & the other date of 20.09.2021 that’s scribbled over it, you spot the difference. In the date where 13.09.2021 is written, number 9 has a curve, but in the later it doesn’t. So if the same man wrote the letter, why such a glaring difference? It’s for agencies to investigate.
SMOKING GUN – SIGNATURE MISMATCH?
But the smoking gun and biggest inconsistency is the late MAHANT’S signature in itself. Firstly, who signs of every page a suicide letter? Secondly, if you analyse the letter closely, every signature is different from the other. In one page, Mahant is signed with म and in the other pages it is महन्त. Why would someone sign his name differently on every page of a suicide letter which also is his will?
NAME SPELLED WRONGLY
Now, let’s come to the spelling of MAHANT NARENDRA GIRI. In most parts of the letter the name MAHANT NARENDRA GIRI is spelled in Hindi with a Choti ‘ee’ ki matra and the signature on the bottom of the page is in some parts has Giri written with badi ‘ee’ ki matra and other parts is written in choti ‘ee’ ki matra.
These facts when pieced together raise questions on this mystery that has captured the nation’s attention. Last night, on his show JANTA KA MUKADMA, Pradeep Bhandari said ‘Cops say prima facie this is case of suicide, looking at the suicide note even a child can say this is not suicide’
