Watch this young Indian-American talk about US Election process

Shilpa Bhandari Pinto and her son from New Jersey, USA sent the team of Jan Ki Baat a video to inform the Indian citizens about US Elections, post the voting process. Her 8 year old son, as an Indian-American, had the golden opportunity to witness the democratic process of voting. The power that a democracy invests in her citizens and the power that citizens, in turn, give a democratic nation can be seen in all types of elections conducted within a democracy.

The Presidential Elections in the USA have generated a ton of sparks, mostly because of the candidates. The Republican nominee, Donald Trump, is set to fight Hilary Clinton, the Democratic candidate, for the post of the country’s President. The 2012 Election was won by the Democratic Barack Obama whose second term as a President had encouraged the Democratic leadership. This year, the fight is essentially between the two political ideologies again.

Migrants and settlers within the American community have a lot at stake and a lot to say. The US Election result would set the tone for future diplomatic relations. The result would be declared by the authorities, soon.
