This one will boost the headache pills sales near theaters !
In the climax of the movie Satyameva Jayate, Manoj Bajpayi is banging his head with a medal. Besides feeling sorry for this great actor who finds himself in one shallow screenplay after other a large section of audience also wanted to bang their heads on something in the theater where I was watching this movie.
This movie would have looked dated in 1998 so am a little surprised that the director is attempting this one in 2018. To be fair the twist at the interval and the few killings that John does in the beginning give you some hope of maybe watching a good potboiler but again post interval the movie totally crashes and then when you think of all those scenes before interval you discover that the director actually had no great story to tell.
There are such gaping holes in the story that you are totally irritated by the time the climax arrives. Forget the minor holes like John Abraham being around each time a corrupt cop is up-to something. The director never bothers to tell us how does John Abraham arrive at the fact about who is responsible for his father’s death?
The new heroine is sincere but will do well to learn a little more voice modulation.
The only people happy about this movie will be the medicine store owners near cinema halls , they will have some good amount of painkillers to sell this weekend.
One star that too for John and Manoj. Stay away from the poster of this movie.
