His record in test batting average has never gone below 40. He also has been one of the only five cricketers to achieve the rare treble of 10,000 runs, 100 wickets and 100 catches in ODI cricket; one of the fourteen cricketers, in the world, to have played 100 or more Tests and 300 or more ODIs.
