More than 4 lakh Siksha Mitras have gathered at Jantar Mantar again with the same demands and they will not quit until their demands are fulfilled.About 150 of them committed suicide and the count may rise if our government doesn’t interfere in the matter.
They want Punit Kumar to be back as he will solve their problems.
1. “We work like teachers but get a mere pay of Rs. 10,000. Earlier, we were paid 39,000 but now are salaries are decreased to 10,000. If ordinance can be formed for Jalikattu, why not for UP Siksha Mitra?”- Adarsh Siksha MItra welfare Association, State chief
2. “From 40,000 we were dropped to 10,000. We want our salaries back with our dignity.”
3. “How do we pay our rents now, how do we pay our kid’s school fees? We have worked for 17 years. How can they say that we are not capable?”
4. “We want an ordinance anyhow. We have BA and BTC degrees. What is the use of them?”
5. “We will die but not go from here.”
6. “Yogi Adityanath has been made a fool. I would like to say that you still have time to save your post by helping us. Otherwise, you will neither remain CM nor an MP.”
7. “Is this the responsibility of Modi that he has made us stand on roads? We want the manifesto to be followed.”These lakhs of protestors have gathered from all over the state for raising their demands to the government.They are protesting for 3 days and they are threatening to jam Delhi if nothing is done for them.
