Over 3 lakh affected citizens in the Madhya Pradesh flood were helped by the authorities and civil volunteers. However, it was found out that in their ration and relief material, provided by the government, also contained stones and mud. This insensitive attitude either emerges from intentional neglect or unintentional carelessness, both equally guilty. The question of hygiene that arises is an obvious one.
