People appeared to be afraid, by and large. Especially, the elders were more apprehensive of – if and when the coronavirus reaches them – will the government be able to save them or not. This fear or anxiousness is in turn leading the people to take more and more precautions.
The response “Yes‟ was directly proportional to the following factors – Quantity of information consumption from media, increment of age after 40, extremes on academic qualification levels.
Middle class people responded “No‟ with a 70% majority.
People in tier-two and three cities said that they have been consuming traditional Indian immunity-boosters like Neem and Tulsi – and almost said that they are immune of it, even if it hits their own town.

1. More than 80% back the government’s action against COVID-19.
2. 70% are fearful that COVID-19 can happen to them.
3. At least 47% of the respondents feel that Chinese conspiracy is behind the virus
4. More than 80% support government’s decision of lock down but economic apprehension remains.
5. 80% respondents were aware about symptoms of COVID-19 virus.
6. Soap is used more than Sanitizer ad first defense mechanism against COVID-19 virus.
