Sagarika Mitra, Content Head of JAN KI BAAT sheds light on the fresh allegations against TMC MP Mahua Moitra on the eve of her deposition before Parliament’s ethics committee.
Fresh allegations have emerged surrounding Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader and Lok Sabha MP Mahua Moitra, as it has now been revealed that her parliamentary login ID was accessed 47 times from Dubai. These startling revelations come on the eve of her scheduled deposition before the Lok Sabha’s Ethics Committee, which is investigating allegations of ‘cash-for-query’.
Reports citing sources have alleged that Mahua Moitra undertook 14 unaccounted overseas trips during her tenure as a Member of Parliament. The Speaker’s office, according to sources, was not provided with the necessary information concerning these journeys.
The alleged destinations of these unaccounted trips include the UK, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, and France. Sources have also divulged specific dates of her unaccounted trips:

Mahua Moitra is facing serious charges – she’s accused of allegedly receiving cash in exchange for raising questions against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Gautam Adani in the Lok Sabha. While the Trinamool MP has firmly denied these allegations, in her recent TV interviews Moitra confessed that she shared her parliamentary login credentials with Darshan Hiranandani.
In light of these allegations, several questions remain
1) Why is Mahua Moitra trying to make this case about her personal life when the allegations clearly indicate the breach of Indian Parliament?
2) Why was Mahua Moitra’s parliamentary account accessed from Dubai 47 times? Isn’t this a serious compromise of Lok Sabha?
3) Is it true or not, that Mahua Moitra allowed Darshan Hiranandani to access her parliamentary login credentials 47 times from foreign soil?
4) Why was Darshan Hiranandani typing questions on Mahua Moitra’s behalf? Was he acting as her intern, staff member, or simply a typist?
5) Can Mahua Moitra explain her 14 unaccounted foreign trips to the Lok Sabha Ethics Committee?
The Ethics Committee’s hearing scheduled for tomorrow will likely provide further insights into these allegations against TMC MP Mahua Moitra.
