Akhilesh-Rahul alliance is to fight communal forces in UP Politics: Farhaz, NGO

Akriti Bhatia, the co-founder of Jan Ki Baat, conversed with the Head of a youth-based NGO, Farhaz, at the Taj Vivanta in Lucknow. The Samajwadi Party has a face for the next Chief Ministerial candidate, what do other parties have to project, asks Mr Farhaz. The pre-poll alliance with Rahul Gandhi does seem hopeful. As for the issues, employment or rather lack thereof, is an active one and will be dealt with by the SP. Religious issues that’ve surrounded the State, such as building temples, must be avoided for the better policy points.

Uttar Pradesh Elections 2017 are soon becoming a source for redemption; not only for the BSP but also for the Congress, which is banking on its before-scams image. Congress has already formed a pre-poll alliance with the Samajwadi Party. The BJP, too, would welcome a win in UP as a public validation of its two and half year rule at the Centre. UP’s 403 seat assembly will open itself as a battleground for many political leaders.

.Akhilesh Yadav’s alliance with the Congress has been disapproved by many because of lack of popularity that the Congress enjoys nationally. Both BSP and BJP are yet to declare who they’re fielding as candidates for the post of Chief Minister. What the public mood swings towards and for, will be known soon.
