MP Meenakshi Lekhi replies to the distressed farmers of Midnapore, West Bengal

Citizens in West Bengal in their video to Jan Ki Baat expressed their concern and problem owing to deprivation of road construction and other facilities in Amodpur Village, Midnapore district under the Trinamool Congress government.

MP and the National spokesperson of BJP Meenakshi Lekhi replies to the farmers saying that the Bengal State government is responsible for the deprivation of the citizens. Development deprivation of Amodpur village in Midnapore district West Bengal is a general trend visible in WEST Bengal. West Bengal needs “democratic development change”.

Even after 70 years of Independence, it is surprising to see that people are denied basic amenities owing to the negligence of the government. It seems like the people are still living in the 17th and 18th century.

Meenakshi Lekhi, who had come to inaugurate the 3 day Modi fest in Moti Nagar, New Delhi where the farmers and citizens would be made aware of the schemes and programs by the Modi government said that she wishes for the development of the the deprived in Bengal through democratic means. The freedom movement in India started from the soils of West Bengal and once again the government and people should strive to achieve a new freedom in the state.
